The pharmaceutical industry controls the public broadcast spectrum, the United Nations, and even pamphlets in your doctors office. Another condition that only affects humans is / was smallpox. There is some agreement about when we got rid of it, and mostly speculation when it came into existence.
During the Middle Ages, about 80% of the population contracted smallpox during their lives so that much of the Old World acquired natural immunity, while the new world (Americas) definitely did not. So indeed, the idea behind vaccination is to speed up natural immunity. By 1900 a new strain appeared “variola minor” which had a very low mortality rate of less than 1%. This is a typical form of viral evolution since the virus dies if the host dies. In this case however, artificial immunity advanced ahead of natural immunity.
Skin, analogous to cell membrane, has the greatest resistance to infection since it is the most abused organ of the body. Smallpox sneaks in though the reparatory system and attacks from the inside. What would happen if the virus was introduced through abrasion? No surprise, mortality declines from 30% down to about 1% if done correctly. This practice called variolation was current in the 1700’s.
Daniel Bernoulli (1700 -1782) provided mathematical models for smallpox propagation and argued for the use of variolation. His use of non-linear differential equations leads to further advances, so that today we hear Henri Poincare’s single word “relativity” used with wild abandon. Going back to the past, Jean le Rond d’Alembert (1717 – 1783) argued that the risks of variolation are 17 times greater than the vaccine itself. d’Alembert’s mother left him on the steps of the Saint Jean le Rond de Paris church a few days after he was born; so Bernoulli may have considered him to be a bastard, but eventually they settled their differences. In any case, things were about to change.
Edward Jenner (1749 – 1823) also an orphan was apprenticed to a country physician at the age of 14, and again later, at St. George Hospital in London. He is credited with the discovery of cowpox inoculation to protect against smallpox. At least six investigators had already come to the same conclusion in England, but Jenner was more thorough and well connected and generally gets credit. As a bonus, there are photographs of the hand of milkmaid; Sarah Nelmes who provided the cowpox samples. Also her cow, Blossom, gets an honorary mention.
So far, there is not much in the way of technology; discoveries in microbiology where just beginning. But this natural method was working and we would eventually see the end of smallpox. Two hundred years later, things would get a bit sketchy.

The 16 January 2020, page 209, Nature magazine reads, “Chinese respiratory illness claims first life.” Nature incessantly publishes climate change rubbish that you get from the rear end of Blossom the cow. In this case, it is a cover up for gain of function (germ warfare) research paid for by Dr. Fauci. As soon as the horse got out the barn they claimed it came from a natural source.
There are of course emerging diseases. When Belgium withdrew nearly 90,000 workers from the Congo; replacement teachers, 4500 of them came from Haiti, just as HIV spread from monkeys to people. The teachers would return home with the baggage and the rest is history. In 1979 there was a Gay men’s conference at Port-au-Prince. “Patient zero” is queer airline steward, Gaeten Dugan. He is sexually linked to forty of the first 288 cases of HIV in the United States.
Now, about this HIV/AIDS virus, it is an RNA retrovirus. Retro means it becomes part of the DNA, the same as phage. Do you recall something about RNA vaccine for corona virus? That’s right! The same thing that causes horrific vaccine injury claims over 40 million HIV victims. The injection is in the arse rather than arm.
